Here it is folks a ruling on colonies, union leaders, go gather your peoples vote and get voting!




311. - Colonies
    are settlements populated with Melsonian citizens as well as potential recruits.
    • Citizens are afforded all benefits and rights that a Citizen living in The Republic of Melsonia would receive.
    • Potential Recruits are afforded only the benefits and rights that the Governor of the settlement sees fit to provide and allow.

  • will be able to accommodate upto five (5) citizens and as many recruits.
  • will be able to make enough food to be self sufficient
  • will supply The Republic of Melsonia with resources and supplies of her choosing (this is to be delivered weekly during Parliament).

  • Colonies will be Afforded the Protection of The Republic of Melsonia and all Her Resources as best she is able.
  • Colonies will be Outfitted with Necessary Equipment and Tools produced in The Republic of Melsonia as and when the CPC is able to accommodate.
  • Colonies will be Supplied with Necessary Resources as and when the CPC is able to accommodate.


312. - Electing Governors
The Election of a Governor is done by a unanimous CPC vote
Once a Governor is elected he is given the Duties of a Governor to uphold.
The Title of Governor is given to the Chieftain, or owner of the Chieftain alt, of a Colony.
The Title of Chairman Governor is given to the Chieftain, or owner of the Chieftain alt, of a Colony if that LS is also a Chairman in the CPC

313. - Duties of a Governor are as follows.
  • Found a Village, in a location assigned by the CPC.
  • Agree upon a suitable Name for the town with the CPC.
  • Establish a Crossroad, with a suitable name, for access from The Republic of Melsonia
  • Ensure the Completion of an initial Brick Wall around the settlement.
  • Deal with matters regardling the colony and inhabitants. (Including, but not limited too, the discovery and appropriate treatment of negative elements within the colony, ensuring that all citizens are complying to true Melsonian Values, Providing adequate tasks and social engagement for recruits.)
  • Make the CPC aware of any needs and situations in the Colony.
  • Agree with the CPC what resources and supplies are to be made for The Republic of Melsonia and present them at parliament, weekly.
  • Bring to the attention of the CPC, at parliament, all requirements, changes and foreign issues relating to their colony.
  • Make recommendations to the CPC as to the most suitable applicants for transfer to The Republic of Melsonia.

Passed.

This has been done in accordance with:

113. A citizen's non-participation in a law-change will result in the forfeit of their vote. A citizen always has the option to forfeit a vote.

216. Votes are formally submitted as a reply to the thread concerning and containing the prospective law change(s) and can be altered until the final vote is submitted or a second parliament passes, whichever is sooner.
